The Y81K-630 dual-main-cylinder hydraulic scrap metal baler is a high-efficiency compression device designed specifically for large-scale scrap metal recycling scenarios. This hydraulic metal baler employs a 630-ton dual-main-cylinder synchronous hydraulic drive system, coupled with a 3000×2500×1200mm extra-large volume material bin, capable of processing large quantities of light and thin scrap steel, non-ferrous metal scraps, and scrapped vehicle body fragments in a single loading. Equipped with dual 55KW high-power motors, the machine delivers stable and powerful output, compressing loose scrap metal into high-density, regular bales with a density of 2.0-2.5 tons/m³, significantly reducing storage space and transportation frequency.
This hydraulic metal baler is suitable for medium to large-scale scrap steel recycling bases, metal processing distribution centers, and steel company-affiliated recycling departments with a daily processing capacity exceeding 50 tons. Through a fully automatic PLC control program, the single-cycle operation time can be controlled within 90 seconds, achieving continuous and large-scale production, helping companies establish a core competitive advantage in the scrap pre-processing stage.

1. Synchronous drive via dual main cylinders for uniform compaction force distribution
The Y81K-630 utilizes a symmetrical dual-main-cylinder configuration; a total thrust of 6,300 kN is delivered evenly by two high-strength hydraulic cylinders, effectively preventing the off-center loading issues common in single-cylinder models. The ram experiences uniform force during compression, resulting in consistent bale density—making it particularly suitable for processing mixed scrap metal with irregular shapes and varying sizes.
2. Modular hydraulic system for easy maintenance
The main hydraulic circuit employs an integrated cartridge valve block design, reducing piping connection points and minimizing the risk of oil leaks. The system features a water-cooled temperature control unit. Filter elements and seals adhere to standard national specifications, allowing for on-site replacement without the need for specialized tools.
3. Multiple safety interlock mechanisms
The machine is equipped with comprehensive safety features, including a hopper door safety pin, ram travel limit switches, automatic overload pressure relief, and an emergency stop button. A PLC system monitors main cylinder pressure and displacement data in real-time, automatically triggering alarms and halting operations in the event of an anomaly to ensure the safety of both personnel and equipment.
1. Large-scale scrap steel recycling and processing bases: For recycling stations with a daily collection volume of over 100 tons, the Y81K-630 can quickly compress acquired light and thin materials, color steel tiles, and iron wire into briquettes, facilitating sales to steel mills by the ton and reducing site inventory pressure.
2. End-of-line processing of scrapped automobiles: Mixed metal scrap such as car shells, seat frames, and bumpers from dismantled automobiles are compressed to 1/5 of their original volume by this baler, significantly reducing logistics costs for transporting them to electric arc furnace steel plants.
3. Steel structure manufacturing and demolition projects: Scrap steel pipes, steel formwork, scaffolding fasteners, etc., generated at construction sites can be compressed into regular bales by this machine, which can be directly used as remelting material in medium-frequency furnaces, increasing the added value of scrap steel.
4. Non-ferrous metal sorting centers: When processing recycled scrap aluminum profiles, copper wire, and stainless steel scraps, different metal bales can be compressed by changing the mold and adjusting the pressure parameters, facilitating subsequent sorting and smelting.
1. Customized Bin Size: In addition to the standard 3000×2500×1200mm size, extended/widened bins (up to 4000mm) can be customized according to customer site space and feeding methods to adapt to the operating radius of steel grabbers of different tonnages.
2. Customized Bagged Section: The standard bagged section is 600×600mm or 700×700mm. For specific steelmaking furnace opening sizes or container loading solutions, any section size between 500×500mm and 800×800mm can be customized.
3. Customized Discharge Method: Four discharge methods are available: side-tipping bagged, front-pushing bagged, side-pushing bagged, and manual bagged removal. For highly automated production lines, a chain conveyor and automatic weighing system can be optionally installed to achieve real-time recording of bagged weight.
4. Customized Power Configuration: For remote areas or mobile operation scenarios with limited power supply, the electric motor power solution can be replaced with a diesel engine drive, while maintaining the same hydraulic output performance, to ensure normal production in environments without power grid.
