Alligator shears are hydraulically driven shearing devices that utilize a principle similar to the jaws of an alligator. These hydraulic metal shears are primarily used in the metal recycling and smelting industries for cold shearing of various steel profiles and scrap metal materials to produce qualified furnace feed for easy transport and remelting.

This hydraulic alligator shear is small in size, occupies little space, and is easy to install. Furthermore, its mobility, moderate cost, and ease of operation make it the preferred metal pretreatment equipment for small and medium-sized scrap metal recycling stations, auto dismantling plants, and construction sites.
